Welcome

Spacer - droplets.

Each wave of knowledge that surges up from ocean depths of hidden meanings and crashes on the hard rocks of ignorance leaves behind tiny droplets of understanding.

What might we gain by reflecting on them?

Ocean wave crashing on rocks.
A dewdrop out of this ocean would,
if shed upon all that are in the heavens and on the earth,
suffice to enrich them with the bounty of God,
the Almighty, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.
- Bahá’u’lláh

Our Times

We live in times like none other. History is not exactly repeating itself these days. So many things are falling apart, and yet so many things are coming together. Will we destroy our race and planet in selfishness and greed, or will we create a new culture, a new civilization based on a vision of the oneness of humanity?

Be anxiously concerned
with the needs of the age ye live in,
and centre your deliberations on its
exigencies and requirements.
- Bahá’u’lláh

Our Nature

Part of our nature is nature. We are inseparably part of the natural world. As we heal our world, we heal ourselves. As we learn about nature and harmonize with it, we discover our own nature.

Nature is God's will,
and is its expression
in and through the contingent world.
- Bahá’u’lláh

Our Spirit

The other part of our nature is spirit. We are physical beings during our lifetimes, and we are spiritual beings for all eternity. Through this material world we have the chance to develop our spiritual nature towards becoming our true selves.

The potentialities
inherent in the station of man,
the full measure of his destiny on earth,
the innate excellence of his reality,
must all be manifested in this
promised Day of God.
